Competition class and Run For Fun 8K say their name and start number (BIB).
Run For Fun 4K only say their name and that they are running 4K.
Competitors collect their startkit* at least 45 minutes before their start.
*Competition class: 1 timing chip, 3 green and 1 orange wristband.
Run for fun 8K: 1 timing chip
Run For Fun 4K: 1 yellow wristband
There are toilets at the event area, and at several places along the course.
Showers and changing rooms are available at Lidköping Squash and Padel Center on the event area. If you wish to use the changing facilities and showers, it costs 50 SEK and can be paid via Swish on-site.
We recommend changing at home, as space in the changing room is limited.
At Lidköping’s Squash and Padel Center, next to the showers and changing rooms, there is an opportunity to store your bag free of charge. We are not responsible for valuables.
At the eventarea there are food trucks: Oh La La and Dough & BeyondThere's also Rörstrand Museum Kafé, Konditor Trulsson and Pinchos to visit.
Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés in the city center, just a short walk away.
We recommend taking the train or bus to The Obstacle Run! Since the event is held in central Lidköping, just a 5-minute walk from the bus- and train station, there are plenty of public transportation options. Visit Västtrafik to plan your journey!
There is a limited number of parking spaces near the event area. In central Lidköping, there are some parking spots available. See map over parkings here!
Medical staff are stationed along the course and at the event area. Contact the nearest official if you sustain an injury that prevents you from completing the race or if you need medical assistance.
The course will be marked with yellow-black band, signs and arrows.
The results will be published on the web after the race.
There are two hydration stations along the course with both water and sport drink from UMARA.
There will also be water at the finish.
We have general rules that apply to all runners. If you’re running in the competitive class, there are additional rules to consider. For those participating in Run for Fun, there are some specific rules that apply. The family run also has a few rules that are specific to that race. It's the participants responsibility to read the rules!
After crossing the finish line, you’ll have the opportunity to take great photos before leaving the finish area.
All photos from the race will be published on our Facebooksida.
If for any reason you have to abandon the race, it is your responsibility to inform a marshal that you are withdrawing and to return your timing chip.

The starting times will be published in starting list. the week before the race. First start Competition Class is 12:00 pm. Then there's a few minutes between the starting groups.
The first start for Run For Fun is at 01:45 pm. Start times are generally assigned based on registration order, but some adjustments may be made.
Yes, if we have the time. Send an e-mail to info@theobstaclerun.se if you wish to change your starting time. We try to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee that changes can be made close to the event.
Everyone with the same team- or company name will start together. Remember to spell the name exactly the same!
If you want to add or change team-name, please send an email to info@theobstaclerun.se with information, and we will help you with the change.
The sooner you contact us for changes, the better chance that we have time to help you.
Start and finish are found at Rörstrand Center.
Rörstrand Center are located in the center of Lidköping, approximately 250 m from the square and 300m from the buss and train station.
Collect your startkit at the check-in, no later than 45 minutes before your start.
No, every participant should collect their own race kit at the check-in.

Registration for Competition Class closes thursday 28/8 at 12:00 pm. Registration for Run For Fun closes saturday 30/8 at 12:00 pm.
Yes, you will receive a receipt along with the confirmation of your registration, which you can submit to your employer.
You can also register by Epassi. Epassi Pay the registration fee and you will receive an e-mail with more information to finish the registration.
